Two book vintage bundle: "Edgar Rice Burroughs' Fantastic Worlds - Essays and Examinations of the Science Fiction Universe Spawned by the Man Who Created Tarzan", edited and published by James Van Hise in 1996 along with "Pirates of Venus", by Mr. Burroughs, an Ace Books first paper back edition of this title, published in 1963 with a .40¢ cover price."Fantastic Worlds" is a large format soft cover, self published by the author, profusely illustrated in black and white, 192 pages."Pirates" is Ace catalog F-179, 173 pages, being the first time this story appeared in paperback form.Both books are "very good" with tight spines, covers and pages the close flat, no loose pages, no tears or folded pages. Worlds has a little little speckling in a few spots on the text block edges, and the lower corner in mildly bumped. Pirates has some mild reading creasing front and back along spine, original owner's name inside the front page. A light surface scuff on upper edge of text block (see accompanying images).Overall, two very nice pleasing books!
