Tom Swift and His Photo Telephone hardcover in original dust jacket First edition, later printing Children's series book #17
This is a "very good" or better vintage hardcover in pictorial cloth wrapped boards with black-and-white illustrated glossy frontispiece published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1929. First edition format, later printing (originally introduced in 1914 in the same presentation). Solid binding, no writing or marks aside from a "17" carefully affixed to the front free end paper. No torn, folded or loose pages. Front board lower corner lightly bumped, others are crisp, with minimal wear to cloth all. Pictorial decorations on the cloth on front board and spine are bright, tan color background uniform all around - not sunned on spine. Matching dust wrapper shows "Tom Swift and His House On Wheels" as the last title in the list inside the front flap. Some minimal edge wear with some chipping at the flap fold corners and spine head and tail. Slight tanning to the spine and light damp stain at bottom portion. Closed tear on front lower edge near spine. Front cover illustration bright and vibrant. Now protected in a removable archival sleeve for proper presentation. A really pleasing vintage copy with its original cover, which are getting more scarce each passing year. See accompanying images for full condition details.
