This is a "very good" vintage hardcover in pictorial cloth wrapped boards with black-and-white illustrated glossy frontispiece published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1929. First edition format, later printing (originally introduced in 1910 in the same presentation). Solid binding, no writing or marks aside from a "03" carefully affixed to the front free end paper. No torn, folded or loose pages. Board corners are just ever so slightly bumped, still crisp with minimal wear to cloth all. A little damp stain on cloth at lower corner of spine and front board. Pictorial decorations on the cloth on front board and spine are bright, tan color background uniform all around - not sunned on spine. Matching dust wrapper shows "Tom Swift and His House On Wheels" as the last title in the list inside the front flap. Some edge wear with some chipping at the flap fold corners. Two triangular losses along front upper edge. Spine head and tail chipped, damp stain at the lower spine and front cover edge. Front cover illustration bright and vibrant. Now protected in a removable archival sleeve for proper presentation. A really pleasing vintage copy with its original cover, which are getting more scarce each passing year. See accompanying images for full condition details. Will make for a great gift for that special collector or perhaps an upgrade for your collection! Will ship promptly, carefully packaged, fully insured. FREE PRIORITY TO THE STATES.
