"The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, blue cloth wrapped hardcover with two illustrations by Sidney Paget from the original publication in the Strand magazine, published by The Baker Street Irregulars in 1948, 64 pages.

First edition thus.

This is a "very good" book, with a solid, intact binding and gutters, some tanning on the end papers. Board corners are fairly crisp, a little wear at the tips. No writing, no loose, torn or folded pages. Some tanning on the page edges internally.

Matching original dust wrapper has seen better days. Significant losses along top and bottom edges, front and back. Not clipped. Flap edges tanned. No marks or labels. Now in a removable protective sleeve.
