"Sweet Pea" by Jill Krementz, foreward by Margaret Mead, published for the first time in 1969 by Harcourt, Brace, and World.

First edition.

Quarto in tan cloth wrapped boards, unadorned end papers, glossy pages throughout, profusely illustrated with black and white photographs, 95 pages.

This is a "very good -" or slightly better vintage hardcover with a tight binding and board hinges. There is no writing, no loose, torn or folded pages. The first 25 or so pages have a light crease in the bottom half, parallel with the spine. The text block closes tightly, upper edge somewhat dusted, outer and bottom edges are bright and uniform. The board corners are bumped, with the front upper being most so. There is a small dent in the front board lower edge near the spine and a 1/2" segment on the top edge where the cloth is frayed (see accompanying images). Cloth of front and back boards is uniform in color overall, not spotted, stained or sunned.

The original dust wrapper has some light edge wear and creasing along edges. A little chipping in places, most pronounced at spine edges. Price clipped on front flap. No writing, no tears, not tanned, uniform in color front to back.
