Philip K Dick "Dr. Futurity" Vintage dos-a-dos science fiction paperback First time in print / John Brunner "Slavers of Space" ACE
This is a "very good" vintage paperback book published by ACE Books circa 1960. PBO printing for both novels ("paperback original" - meaning they were printed in this edition prior to being released in a hardcover edition, so technically, they are "first edition" printings). Cover art is be Ed Emshwiller and Ed Valigursky, both renowned science fiction artists of the period. The spine tight with just a hint of a little creasing in one spot. No loose, torn or folded pages. No writing. Some edge wear in places, some chipping at spine head and tail. Text block closes tightly. Page edges internally are somewhat mildly tanned with age. Overall, a very pleasing copy containing work from two important science fiction writers of the period, both who would go on to win the Hugo Award for best Science Fiction Novel, Dick in 1963 and Brunner in 1969.
