"The Message in the Hollow Oak" by Carolyn Keene, featuring Nancy Drew, published in 1965 by Grosset & Dunlop.

This is a super nice, vintage children's hard cover which, as per Farah's Guide to identifying the printings of the Nancy Drew Series books by its publishing points is identified as the first printing of 1965, coded in Farah's as "1965A-59"

This is a "very good plus" or better vintage hardcover with a tight binding and crisp hinges. There are no loose, torn or folded pages, no writing. The upper board corners are not bumped, the two lowers are with some light wear at the tips Spine head and heel are lightly bumped. Some tanning in the hinge at the bottom portion of the back spine edge. Black tinting along the top text block edge is deep with just a few small specks.

Overall, a super crispy, above average vintage copy!
