All of these books are from ACE Books, with original cover prices ranging from .40 to .60 cents. All of these books are solid. meaning no loose pages and no significant tears. There may be a few stray marks here or there, a handful of page corners being folded and the like. They are better than the average vintage paperback of their vintage, but do have some signs of age and wear, I have priced accordingly.

Note: All edition dates are based upon the book points as described by Robert B. Zeuschner's "Edgar Rice Burroughs - The Bibliography".

Choose from:

#1) "Tanar of Pellucidar", .40 cent cover, "good" with fair amount of tanning to pages, 5 pages got jammed at the top center, and about 30 pages have lower corner folded over; as per Zeuschner, this is a 1962 edition.

#2) "Savage Pellucidar", .60 cent cover, "very good" to "very good plus", no real signs of use, only really visible flaw is a small patch at the lower edge of the text block where the orange tinting has faded; this is a 1969 edition.

#3) "The Land that Time Forgot", .40 cent cover, "very good minus" or better, a little spine lean from use, a little surface wear, tight overall; this is a 1963 edition.

#4) "At the Earth's Core", .50 cent cover price, "very good minus", a little light reading creases in places, edge wear at the spine; this is a 1968 edition.

#5) "Pellucidar", .40 cent cover, "very good minus", text block edges fairly well tanned, some light scuffs to the text block edges; this is a 1962 edition

#6) "Thuvia Maid of Mars", .40 cent cover, "good", has a fair amount of wear to the spine edges, reading crease along the spine, small loss in the cover and some creasing at the outer edge of the front cover toward the top; this is a 1962 edition.

#7) "A Fighting Man of Mars", .40 cent cover, "very good minus", some light edge wear, mild creasing along top edge of front cover; this is a 1963 edition

#8) "Pirates of Venus", .40 cent cover, "very good plus", some slight surface wear to glossy covers, but little signs of reading", this is a 1963 edition.

#9) "The Chessmen of Mars", .40 cent cover, "very good" or a little better, a little slight edge wear, otherwise very tight and crisp; this is a 1962 edition.
--> NOTE: Zueschner notes that ACE was never legally authorized to print this title, so this is the only printing, and this book is harder to come by than other ERB ACE books.

#10) "Lost on Venus", .40 cent cover, "very good plus", this is a super clean copy! some slight edge wear on covers, other wise almost like new; this is a 1963 edition featuring Frank Frazetta cover art.

#11) "Carson of Venus", .50 cent cover, "very good minus", tight copy, some light spotting on front cover; surface wear on back, closes tight; this is a 1967 edition with Frank Frazetta cover art.

#12) "The Monster Men", .60 cent cover, "good plus" to "very good minus"; tight book but with small losses at outer edges of both front and back covers, more so on the back, otherwise still pleasing; this is a 1969 edition with Frank Frazetta front cover and title page art.

#13) "The Moon Men", .40 cent cover, "good plus" or slightly better, handwritten label affixed near the upper corner of the front cover with a code "SF-11" presumably a personal library code, original owners name inside front; top of pages tanned; this is a 1962 edition with Emsh cover art.

#14) "The Mad King", .40 cent cover, "very good minus", some edge wear, light crease runs almost entire length of center of the back cover; this is a first edition thus from 1962.

#15) "The Cave Girl", .40 cent cover, "good plus" to "very good minus", crease runs length of back cover top to bottom, minor surface wear, this is a 1964 first edition thus.

#16) "The Moon Maid", .40 cent cover, "very good minus", reading crease to front cover along the spine, pages somewhat tanned, some surface wear to covers, this is a 1962 first edition thus, which notable contains the longer text of the original stories, not the shortened version found in earlier hard covers.

#17) "Land of Terror", .40 cent cover, "good plus", has some reading creases, some chips and on the back cover there is a pattern of small dents pressed into the surface; this is a first edition paperback from 1964 with Frank Frazetta cover art.
