Leo Tolstoy "Anna Kerenina" Revised Modern Library first edition Rockwell Kent endpapers
Published 1965 by the Modern Library.
8vo, cloth wrapped hardcover, 851 pages. $2.45 cover price on DJ.
This is a "very good plus" vintage book with a tight binding and crisp board hinges. There are no loose, torn or folded pages, no writing. The board corners are all square and crisp, not bumped, perhaps just the slightest hint of wear at the very tips. The spine head is just so slightly bumped with the bottom more so. There is a damp stain running the inner half of the front board lower edge (see accompanying images). Text block closes squarely and tightly, lightly speckled and dusted along top edge, a few faint scuffs or faint moisture mark on outer text block edge. Internally the pages are bright. The gilt lettering and decoration on the spine is bright, crisp, complete, not rubbed.
The original dust jacket is not price clipped. No writing or marks . Some edge wear, creasing and chipping at spine edges and flap folds. Now protected in a removable archival sleeve for proper protection and presentation.
