Original antique black and white portrait. Gravure print on heavy mat finish paper.

Printed circa 1959 as a plate in Karsh's "Portraits of Greatness".

These striking portraits make for sophisticated display - and grouping two or more together would really be amazing!

The prints have been carefully removed from a vintage copy of "Portraits" that the binding had come just totally apart. I saved the book from being discarded with the thought that these heavy pages would have a new life dressing up someone's living or works spaces

Will work nicely as is or matted to an 11x14" frame.

In very good original condition - some toning or foxing may be present to the vintage paper, but this is part of the charm!
