"The Boys From Brazil" by Ira Levin, published for book club members circa 1976 by Random House.Octavo, mustard paper wrapped boards, decorated front board, plain endpapers, lightly deckled out text block, 213 pages. This is a "very good" vintage book club hardcover with a crisp binding and board hinges. There are no loose, torn or folded pages. No writing. The board corners are lightly bumped, with a hint of wear at the tips on the bottom ones. The spine head and heel are bumped, the heel more so and with some rubbing to the paper wrapper. The top edge of the text block is lightly dusted, the outer and bottom edge are uniform and with just a hint of tanning. A handful of very small scuffs to the board edges if you look closely. The original vintage jacket retains most of its original glossy finish. No marks, not clipped. Lightly tanned along the spine and top edge. Some chipping at the top and bottom of the spine.A cool vintage book that was turned into a highly regarded film in 1978. The cast included Laurence Olivier who was nominated for an Oscar, James Mason, and Gregory Peck. This book was Mr. Levin's next effort after "The Stepford Wives". He also wrote "Rosemary's Baby".Will ship promptly and well packaged.
