Gulliver's Travels [c.1967] vintage Modern Library edition Jonathan Swift
Published by the Modern Library circa 1967.
8vo, red cloth wrapped boards, Rockwell Kent orange end papers, gold foil lettering on the spine, 300 pages.
This is a "very good" vintage book. The binding is solid, with crisp board hinges. The text block closes tightly, with an overall uniform color, a few faint, small smudges. The board corners are slightly bumped at the top, all tip show some slight wear to the cloth, but not worn through. Spine heel bumped, with some slight surface wear top and bottom, not frayed. A red "H" in a circle is stamped inside the front free end paper (see accompanying images). The gold lettering on the spine is bright, crisp and complete, not rubbed.
Original dust jacket is worn at folds and edges, price clipped. Losses at flap folds and spine head and heel. Now protected in a removable archival sleeve for proper presentation.
