"Mexican Cinema - Reflections of a Society, 1896-1980", by Carl J. Moro, published in 1982 by the University of California Press.

First edition.

8vo, wrapped in sienna cloth, cloth head and tail bands in binding, unadorned endpapers, numerous black and white film stills, mat creme pages, 287 pages including extensive notes and appendixes.

This is a "very good plus" to "near fine" vintage hardcover. The binding is tight and the board hinges crisp. No loose, torn or folded pages. No writing. The spine head lightly bumped, heel only a bit at corners. The cloth wrapped boards are uniform no spots or rubbing. The text block closes tightly and is uniform in color around, some mild foxing on the top edge (see accompanying images).

The original dust jacket is not price clipped, showing the original published price of $29.50 inside the front flap. A little edge wear with some very slight chipping along the top edge. Not sunned. A hint of surface wear on the white background of the back near the spine. Will ship to you in a removable archival sleeve.

Will ship promptly, carefully packaged, and fully insured.
