Dell Mapback "The White Brigand" c1944 Edison Marshall Earl Sherwan cover art

This is a "very good" or better vintage paperback with the desirable "map back" design that Dell Books popularized in the Forties, published circa 1944.

The binding is solid, not cracked, not rolled, complete and solid. Text block closes fairly tightly, book is lightly rolled left to right. The glossy cover coating is complete, front and back, just the slightest hint of lifting at upper corner tips. Covers are crease free. Blue tint on text block top edge is sunned, other edges fairly uniform. One small numerical annotation on the front free end paper, otherwise no writing or marks. No loose, torn or folded pages.

Really quite nice!
