Dell Map-back "The Headless Lady" c.1940 Murder at the circus! Clayton Rawson

This is a "very good" or better vintage paperback with the desirable "map back" design that Dell Books popularized in the Forties, published in circa 1940.

Super nice - it's not often you find these books in such great condition!

The binding is solid, not cracked or shook, complete and solid. Text block closes tightly and is square. The glossy cover coating is complete, front and back, only just lifting at the very outer edge. A vertical crease runs the length on the front cover, closer to the spine. No writing or torn pages. Blue tinting on all text block edges is relatively uniform throughout.
