Pretty Books "Andy Warhol Prints - A Catalogue Raisonne 1962 - 1987", third revised and expanded edition by Frayda Feldman and Claudia Defendi.
This is the third revision of this title, and the first version to include more than 660 images not included in the previous editions. It includes an expanded catalog that only came to light following Andy's passing in 1987. All told, this greatly expanded catalogue has 1245 illustrations, with more than 1,100 in full color! This is a "near fine" to "fine" book. The spine is tight, as are the gutter covers. The heavy text block show very little signs of sagging, indicating this copy most likely was shelved laying flat. There are no pen marks, no names, no turned corners, no loose pages, no tears. The text block is very square (unusual for a heavy book like this) with the edges being bright and clean from marks or dings/dents. The board corners are relatively square, with perhaps the bottom tips just hinting a bit of bump. The spine head and heel are lightly bumped. The lettering on the spine is bright, not rubbed, even overall. The rich black cloth of the boards is smooth and uniform in color, free of spotting or other blemishes. The original vintage dust jacket is not clipped, no writing, no tears. Some very slight edge wear in a few places, a mild crease on the front cover at the lower spine edge. The jacket is protected in an archival removable sleeve from Brodart for proper protection and presentation. The sleeve has some surface wear due to heavy nature of this large tome, but is doing it's job in keeping the jacket from taking the wear. You won't see one like this very often. This is a volume that is certain to appreciate in time due to the comprehensive and unique content of Warhol's works. Will make a great addition to your collection or for that compulsive Warhol collector in your life! Ships promptly, carefully packaged and fully insured.
