This is a "very good plus" vintage hardcover in brown cloth wrapped boards with 64 full-page black and white images, published by Faber and Faber of London in 1966, 144 pages.

First edition.

The binding and hinges are tight and crisp. No writing. Both the front and back free end papers show a rectangular foxing pattern on the blank page which looks like someone stored a newspaper clipping in the book at one time (newspaper paper is high acid content and causes this effect). Text block closes tightly, board corners are crisp. Spine head and tail bumped. No loose, torn or folded pages. Pages are bright. Titling and decoration on the spine is crisp.

The matching vintage jacket is complete showing the original publisher's price of 6 guineas inside the front flap. No significant tears or creases, no writing. White background shows some tanning and spotting in place, most pronounced on the back cover.

Really wonderful photographs, including portraits and landscapes and city scenes from Europe and US.

Includes his iconic image of the Flat Iron Building in NY taken in 1912.
