By Peter C. Welsh, published by North Country Books in 1995.

10" tall, brown cloth wrapped boards, first edition, profusely illustrated in black and white, 191 pages with index.

This is a "near fine" or better vintage hardcover with a tight spine and crisp cover hinges. The text block is square and closes tight, no loose, torn or folded pages. No writing nor name plates. The text block edges are even in color and free from scuffs, top edge has ever so slight hint of dusting. The lower back board corner is lightly bumped, the front upper a bit. The gilt lettering on the spine is bright and not rubbed.

The original dust jacket is "very good" or better with a little minor creasing inside front flap edge and a crease at the lower corner of the back flap. The original publisher's price of $30.00 is visible in the front. There is what appears to be an Amazon barcode label on the back, which presumably could be removed if desired. The jacket is now protected in a removable archival sleeve for proper presentation.

A super nice vintage volume documenting an important era in American industry.
